Solana’s Reputation Targeted
A series of false messages is being circulated on the social media platform X.com about Solana’s network outage. The posts and retweets could be a part of a negative PR against Solana.
The messages are strikingly similar with these common lines:
- Bitcoin is too slow.
- ETH has high gas fees.
- Solana network gets congested.
- etc.
Below are a few snapshots of the posts.



Despite the first line being true about Bitcoin, the lines about Ethereum and Solana are no longer valid.
Ethereum has slashed its network fees by nearly 99% or even more after the Decun and Pectra series of upgrades. Average gas fees, which remained above $100 for most of the time, have now crashed below $5. Sometimes one can also see
No Outage in Last 90 Days
Solana did not have any major outages in the last 90 days. Further, the last outage was due to an overwhelming number of people subscribing to the Trump Official Memecoin. Still, the issue was localized to the server, and the blockchain had no outage.
